What is Business Psychology?

Business psychology is an interdisciplinary field that applies the principles of psychology to economic and organizational contexts. Its main objective is to gain a better understanding of human behavior in relation to economic processes, organizations and markets. This approach makes it possible to use psychological findings in various business fields to develop more effective strategies and improve the world of work.

Business psychology deals with the relationships and dynamics of individuals and groups in the workplace, with leadership and motivation, with the selection and recruitment of personnel and psychological aspects in the development and retention of employees. In the corporate context, business psychology also analyzes psychological influences on market and consumer behavior, on change and transformation processes as well as ethical issues in the corporate context.

Your degree in Business Psychology at INU

Study content - what you will learn with us

First, we start with the introductory phase, which offers you optimal preparation for your distance learning course with an “introductory project for self-organized learning”.

The focus of the degree program is on acquiring knowledge in general psychology and business psychology. A practical project in a company enables you to put what you have learned into practice. By specializing in two key areas, which you choose according to your interests, you lay the foundation for your future career. This way, online studying is tailored exactly to your needs!

Study focus - what do you want to study?

Everyone has their own preferences and interests, both in their professional career and in their studies. The distance learning course in Business Psychology gives you the opportunity to pursue exactly this! In the fourth semester, you have the opportunity to choose two focus areas to specialize in during your Bachelor’s degree.

By the end of the third (full-time study) and/or fourth (part-time study) semester you will have acquired the basic knowledge of your course and can choose your two focus fields. You have two options.
