Professor (m/f/d) for Media Production & Digital Content Systems

Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- A Ph.D. qualification in media studies, digital communication, or a related field
- At least five years of professional experience in social media management, media production, digital marketing, or related industries (including a minimum of three years outside academia)
- Expertise in:
- Social media strategies and digital marketing
- Media production technologies (video, image, sound)
- Content management systems & platform technologies
- Digital media processes, AI-driven content, and emerging innovations (AR, VR, etc.)
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and student engagement
- Excellent communication skills in English (German proficiency is a plus but not required)

Your Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate professor to strengthen our team in the fields of media production, content systems, and digital technologies. Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering engaging courses (online & on-campus) in media production, content systems, and related fields
- Supervising student projects, theses, and independent studies
- Developing and assessing examinations and coursework
- Enhancing course content with innovative teaching methodologies
- Conducting research and publishing in relevant fields
- Building and maintaining professional networks and partnerships
- Contributing to university committees and academic administration
