The Bachelor’s degree program in Business Psychology (B.Sc.) combines central areas of psychology with key aspects of economics. The aim is to convey a sound understanding of human behavior in a professional and economic context. Students learn how individual and social factors influence decisions, how companies can develop and motivate employees and how psychological principles are effective in areas such as marketing, organization and communication.

In addition to scientific principles, the course emphasizes the application of knowledge in real professional situations. As a result, students acquire skills that are increasingly in demand in modern fields of work – from personnel and organizational development, consulting and coaching to marketing, market research and change management.

The course is aimed at people who are interested in psychological contexts and would like to use them specifically for the further development of people, teams and organizations. With its interdisciplinary profile, it opens up a wide range of career prospects and provides a sound basis for further qualifications.

Studying Business Psychology via distance learning at INU means …

first building a solid foundation in business, law, mathematics & statistics

Admission Requirements

European Union Students

Valid secondary school leaving certificate equivalent to German Abitur Direct admission possible for most EU qualifications

Studients from other regions

Depending on your country of origin you may start directly after having graduated school or you will have to complete two or three semesters of study in your home country first. Let us check if your higher education entrance qualification is equivalent to the German qualification. If you need to submit your foreign documents via uni-assist, we will refund up to €60 in your second semester, as long as you start your studies with us.

Language Requirements

Since all of our programs are fully taught in English, we will require a proof of your language skills. German knowledge is not required. If your language skills are at CEFR Level B2 or above, one of the following currently valid language test certificates and scores can be accepted for your application:

PTE academic: 59

Note: Further certificates at a qualified B2 level can be assessed individually by the INU. Recognition of Previous Academic Credentials If you have already achieved credits at other universities or in other degree programmes, you can submit an application for recognition of these credits. This could help reduce both the length and cost of your studies at INU. We would be pleased to review your previous achievements and advise you on possible credit transfers.
